This was followed by a gruesome incident on May 4 in which some men were seen abusing helpless women. On Wednesday (July 19), the Manipur Police said in a tweet that they have registered a case under the gang rape and murder section.

A senior police officer told NDTV that we have identified the accused and will arrest them soon. About 15 days after this shocking incident, the victim’s family came to the police. But we will catch those accused in next one or two days.
